Konecranes has announced the supply of an Advanced Horizontal Transport (AHT) System to ECT Euromax, supporting the companies shift to fully electric operations.
The order, that was filed throughout the first and second quarter this year, features 42 Lithium-ion AGVs from Konecranes as well as Automated Charging Stations with fast-charging capabilities.
The AGVs will be supported by a Battery Management System equipped to collect and store operational and charging data, thereby securing efficient battery operation and enhancing the equipment’s reliability.
The AGVs are capable of fully automated handling of containers and will operate in tandem with the existing fleet of diesel-powered AGVs at ECT Euromax.
