On February 5th, the European Commission opened a public consultation regarding the Cybersecurity Act 2 proposal, which was already presented on January the 20th.
The CSA 2 proposal is part of the EU Cybersecurity Package, which also contains targeted amendments to NIS 2 aiming at reducing compliance costs for SMEs. CSA 2 specifically focusses on strengthening the resilience of ICT supply chains while streamlining the European cybersecurity certification framework.
