On March 20, FEPORT participated in the 69th meeting of the Trade Contact Group, which took place in the Walter Hallstein meeting room at the Berlaymont.
During the meeting, an update was provided on the discussions regarding the UCC reform, which is speeding up during the current Polish Presidency.
DG TAXUD also provided the industry representatives with an update about the UCC IT implementation, reporting that the implementation of NCTS P5 was successfully completed in all Member States.
The Commission also reported about CBAM, as the Omnibus proposals introduced a de minimis threshold excluding occasional importers.
