On June 5th, 2025, FEPORT Secretary General, Ms Lamia Kerdjoudj attended the European Tugowners Association Conference held in parallel of the General Assembly meeting in Syracuse.
“AI Horizons: Transforming maritime operations” has enabled us to understand thanks to good presentations from very good speakers, who were keen to share their knowledge and experience, how our industry is undergoing changes and what transformations can be expected.
“APIs and ERPs are key for standardisation and digitalisation, AI is about interpretation and predictive analysis but we need data for that” said one speaker who summarised one of the key takeaways of the conference.
The European Tugowners Association AGM in Syracuse was also a delightful culinary and cultural experience thanks to the famous Sicilian hospitality and taste.
