During its General Assembly meeting held in Brussels on 4 December, FEPORT welcomed Moffatt & Nichol as a new associate member of the FEPORT community. Moffatt & Nichol is a global infrastructure advisory firm providing practical solutions to clients across the marine terminal, transportation, energy, environmental, federal and urban development markets worldwide.
Commenting on the accession, FEPORT President Mr Günther Bonz highlighted the relevance of the company’s expertise for the association’s work and ongoing policy discussions, in particular in the context of the future EU Maritime Industrial and Ports Strategies.
“We are glad to welcome Moffatt and Nicol as the company excels in terms of expertise regarding the port sector and we believe that their insights regarding the situation of EU ports compared to those in other regions will be very useful in the framework of the ongoing discussions on the future EU strategies” said Mr Günther Bonz, President of FEPORT.
Welcoming the new membership, Mr Christian Blauert, Vice President and Global Director – Port and Terminal Development at Moffatt & Nichol, expressed the company’s appreciation for joining FEPORT and underlined its willingness to contribute actively to the association’s activities and policy dialogue.
